挖井的工人一錄自方向
有個工人在挖井，挖累了，看沒挖到水就放棄，然後另找別處挖。就這樣每一次他都不能持之以恆，其實他挖的井底下都有水。
如果那工人懂得選定目標，努力不懈地挖下去，根本不需要如此浪費時間和體力，就可以找到水源。
我們日常生活中，無論求學或做事，有多少次和那工人一樣，常被半途而廢害慘了？所以凡事要選定目標，勇往直前， 有始有終，才不致徒勞無功一事無成啊！

There was a well-digger who gave up his digging whenever he became exhausted because he could not dig out any water. Then, he would start digging again somewhere else. The story went on like this all the same simply because he lost his perseverance. As-a-matter-of-factly, there was water right under each and every well site he had dug.
If only the worker knew how to choose the target spot and kept on digging persistently, he would not have wasted so much time and strength before he found the water source.
In our daily life, be it study or work, how many people had been the victims of “Half-finished, undone” by giving up attempts prematurely? Therefore, one has to dare oneself straight ahead towards the goal of one’s pursuit so that something might be accomplished after all!
